This location is one of my favourites on days with clouds, moody skies, rain and sun...... its breath taking, but if you don't hit it when the lighting is just right, it's pretty unforgiving. The other issue is that it's REALLY popular during Fall, and a few evenings previous I was one of no less than 15 sessions taking place...... I'm going location scouting to see if we can find somewhere slightly less crazy this fall with a similar feel, because those mountains are so magical.
However, I lucked out this fall and scored several jaw dropping days here. One of these, is for one of my favourite newborn families from 2018.
Danielle had asked if I would fit them in during the Fall season for a session before their baby turned one. I'm SO SO SO glad they asked me! They were perfect, and even came prepared with outfit changes, and didn't hesitate to strip down in the middle of the session. LOVE IT. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they had full on changes during the session. Their choices were perfect, and the yellows were blacks are my particular favourite.
I can't wait to photograph this beautiful family in the future as they grow!
