I first met Amanda months before when I was picking up a few dresses I had ordered from her at-home sewing business - I had found her on Facebook and she had the most STUNNING fabric and dresses, since then I think she's made four or five dresses for my daughter, so I was thrilled when she contacted me asking to do a family shoot for her family.
What I didn't know - is that the evening would become my favourite session to date. Without question. It came to me when I was feeling boxed in slightly with family sessions and in a rut - between the location (Derby Reach in Fort Langley is one of my favourite places to both photograph, and to explore), the perfectly well-behaved children and adorable outfits it just made me fall in love with family sessions all over again.
Okay, enough gushing - more sharing.
The cutest little guy ever! He just stared down the barrel and smiled! Something I could never dream of in my little guy!
Seriously - how cute are these two together? No prompting needed - they just interacted beautifully together. I just sat back and watched the magic.
