How I can I not share this perfect Vancouver family photography session in Coal Harbour from the summer. It's one of my favourites of the year and I fell in love with almost EVERY image from the session. So many favourites from this session. #vancouverfamily #Vancouver #CoalHarbour #Lifestylesession #Family #Familysession
I first met Amanda months before when I was picking up a few dresses I had ordered from her at-home sewing business - I had found her on Facebook and she had the most STUNNING fabric and dresses, since then I think she's made four or five dresses for my daughter, so I was thrilled when she contacted me asking to do a family shoot for her family. What I didn't know - is that the evening would become my favourite session to date. Without question. It came to me when I was feeli
When Christina asked me to do a family session to celebrate her youngest's first birthday, I was beyond excited. And then she asked me to add some photos of her baby wearing and the process of wrapping him... and I got nervous. I wasn't entirely sure of what the actual process was, any time that I attempted to wear my youngest in a structured wrap it involved a complicated process of bending, stretching, swearing and sweating. My fears were unfounded though, as it turns out -
There is nothing more divine to a four year old than a tea party. Especially one with fine Royal Albert English Rose china and a matching dress with bow. I'm so happy with the etherial feel of this session. #Family #MiniSession #Portraits #TeaParty
This post is a little unusual, as its my first Engagement session, my first time travelling out of province to shoot, and it just all happens to be for my very best friend who lives in Calgary. I have the privilege and honour of standing up as a bridesmaid this summer, so I won't be photographing their wedding, but when Michelle asked if I would take their engagement photos, I jumped at the the chance! I just love the connection between these two, and despite their reservatio

Nothing says family shoot, like actually photographing your family. Today we've got my very own mom and dad and the very adorable Poodador the Labradoodle. My mom was the very first person who contacted me after I launched Kelly G Photography, so I was thrilled to finally get to photograph them yesterday at their home. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day, and there's almost nowhere more beautiful than their very own back yard which lent itself for a spectacular location.
Happy New Year! I hope each an every one of you had an amazing Christmas and Holiday season with your families. 2016 was an exciting year, and just in the last month I was able to launch Kelly G Photography. I cannot wait to photograph some amazing families in the coming few months. If you're looking to book family or newborn photography, please let me know so we can schedule it in. 2017 is an exciting year, but is shaping up to be extremely busy already. After all the snow w
The Mayson family was my third of three photoshoots Cates Park in North Vancouver the other week. The sun was was getting a bit too bright by the time the third shoot rolled around, and the ground was defrosting creating mud everywhere we tried to walk making it hard to move around - but despite this, a smile never left the Mayson family's face.
I had never met Jen or her husband Derek before, but instantly I got the feeling that they're the type of people you want at a di
Shannon and I first met on a co-ed floor hockey team that a friend was organizing. For several years, we held down the fort as the female requirement and led that team to several “championships” but beer nights and free urban rec t-shirts are now long behind us in exchange for diapers and sticky fingers, and I got to meet up with Shannon, Brennan and their toddler and newborn. The morning was super cold, but we lucked out with brilliant sunshine and since it was just set up a
