The Mayson family was my third of three photoshoots Cates Park in North Vancouver the other week. The sun was was getting a bit too bright by the time the third shoot rolled around, and the ground was defrosting creating mud everywhere we tried to walk making it hard to move around - but despite this, a smile never left the Mayson family's face. I had never met Jen or her husband Derek before, but instantly I got the feeling that they're the type of people you want at a dinner party or games night. These are two of the warmest, friendliest, funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. They instantly relaxed and were comfortable, goofy and acted naturally the entire shoot - it was so much fun and the time flew by! I was warned in advance that we might get a lot of tears from their adorable babe, but she was a delight and had these gorgeous big eyes, perfect for the camera!
