When I photographed Crystal's maternity session in Fort Langley last Fall, I got to meet the sweetest, happiest family. They were so much fun to work with and the photos turned out simply beautiful with gorgeous lighting - I'm a sucker for golden lighting, there's a reason I try and push clients towards a sunny, golden shoot. The colours, the skin tones, the light leaks, swoon!
But enough about gorgeous Maternity sessions (PS - I'm offering a combined Maternity/Newborn package for families in 2018 with a great savings rate for the two sessions) - moving on to absolutely precious newborns. One of the hardest parts of being a natural light newborn photographer is capturing those soft newborn tones on dark winter days, and the day of baby Ashton's session was grey and rainy and as wintery as it gets. Luckily their stunning home offered a few pockets of beautiful light even on the darkest of days and we produced some fantastic moodily light images - the black and whites were perfect for those shadows.
