Shannon and I first met on a co-ed floor hockey team that a friend was organizing. For several years, we held down the fort as the female requirement and led that team to several “championships” but beer nights and free urban rec t-shirts are now long behind us in exchange for diapers and sticky fingers, and I got to meet up with Shannon, Brennan and their toddler and newborn.
The morning was super cold, but we lucked out with brilliant sunshine and since it was just set up as a 30 minute ‘mini’ they kids powered through and there were lots of smiles. Also, check out their shoes - this makes me want to go out and buy my entire family matching shoes. Why hadn’t I thought of this????
